Pre-Loved Harnesses

A well made, high quality dog harness can be an expensive investment but for many owners, the right harness is an absolute game changer when walking and training their dog.  We understand that not all dog owners can afford a high quality harness or that they may have a pup that is likely to grow rapidly and don't want to invest in a full priced harness that will be outgrown in a few short months.

At Dragonfly we offer a Pre-Loved Scheme for Ruffwear dog harnesses.  Customers who want to trade in their old harness for a brand new one can do so.  For all harnesses that are traded in, we pay 1000 Dragonfly Points (worth £10) onto your account for you to put towards a new harness.

To trade your Ruffwear harness in, it must be in good, useable condition and will be accepted at our discretion.  Harnesses that are torn, broken or damaged in any way cannot be traded in (we do have a donation point in store for the RSPCA if your harness still has some life in it).

Used harnesses are washed, dried and listed on our Pre-Loved scheme and are graded as A, B or C condition.

A = like new, may have a couple of very minor marks
B = great condition, but may have some dirty marks
C = good, used condition, may have dirty marks, be slightly worn or have some discolouration

How do I trade my harness in?

You can bring your harness into the store in Slaithwaite, Huddersfield or you can contact us by email with photographs of the harness you would like to trade in.

What if I brought my harness elsewhere?

You don't have to have purchased your Ruffwear Harness from us to take advantage of our Pre-Loved Scheme.

What brands can I trade in?

Currently our Pre-Loved Scheme is for Ruffwear harnesses only but we are considering expanding this in the future to include other top-end brands.

Terms & Conditions

Any Ruffwear harnesses purchased on our Pre-Loved Scheme cannot be refunded, returned or exchanged, they are sold as seen and described.
