We Are Hiring - Retail Assistant

We have 2 positions available.  Working in our busy retail shop, we need someone friendly, confident and capable to join our team. 

Job Role: 

  • Serving and advising customers (includes playing with and fussing dogs!!)
  • Ensuring shelves and freezers are kept filled
  • Keep shop labels and signs up to date
  • Picking and packing orders for local collection, deliveries and DPD couriers
  • Answering the telephone and take telephone orders
  • Ensure the shop stays clean and tidy and displays maintained.
  • Harness Fittings
  • Stock Checks if requested
Person Specification:
  • Experience of working within a retail environment is desirable but full training will be given
  • Experience of raw feeding and canine care is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and keeping calm under pressure
  • Friendly and confident attitude when dealing with customers and their dogs
  • Punctual
Salary: To be discussed at interview
Position 1: 23 Hours per week 1 x Monday (9am-5pm) 2 x weekdays (4 hours per day, flexible), 1 x Saturday (9am-5pm)

Position 2: 1 x Saturday (9am-5pm)
